What a Waste

I don't know how many other Red Sox fans are out there reading this, but I've really had it with this guy. He had a great first half last season for the Sox, got hit by that comebacker around the midway point and hasn't seemed the same since. I'm so tired of hearing Yankee fans cry about their team.. look at the BoSox, with 2/5 of their starting rotation out for the majority of the season (Wells and Clement), and a complete breakdown of their former all star closer Keith Foulke. However, the Sox have gotten good starts out of Jon Lester and had an allstar arise in Jonathen Papelbon... it's called rising to the occasion, Yankee fans. Like being humiliated in a game 3 playoff loss, falling behind 3-0, and becoming the first team in baseball history to come back to win their series and then sweep the World Series!!!

Yo may be right, cryde, but as I type this right now, the Yanks are 1 strike away from losing to the Devil Rays, after blowing a 5 run lead, and the Sox are 2 innings away from sweeping the White Sox, .... if things hold up the Sox will be up 4 games heading into the second half.

So much for sweeping the White Sox. The Red Sox counted on an old fat man with a history of back problems. You call that an unexpected injury? Just like losing your left fielder, right fielder, second baseman, a starter, two relievers, and having your new CF playing with a broken foot. And just how recently was that comeback you keep yacking about? Everybody deserves to win every 80 years or so.
